Tremendous opportunity for farmers looking to enter the Institutional market through a wholesaler! The goal of the training is to build the capacity of farmers to meet the burgeoning demand for locally/regionally grown fruits and vegetables. Theses training’s will guide participants in developing skills that are key to success in the marketplace, including post-harvest handling, cooling, packing, buyer-seller relationships, contracts, grade standards and more. Workshop includes a Wholesale Success manual, training, and lunch. Offered on November 6th or 9th 2017.
